Sound familiar?

You’ve reached a point where you’re saying:

“It’s finally time for me to do this.”

You’re fed up, ready to change, and ready for something different.
You want to feel better—but right now, everything feels like too much.

  • Your schedule is packed. Your responsibilities are endless.
It’s hard to keep up, let alone follow through on things for yourself.

And no one knows how hard it’s been.
You’ve perfected the art of keeping it all together on the outside, but inside?
    You’re barely holding on.
    You can’t tell your boss.
Your family doesn’t feel like a safe place to turn.

  • Maybe they describe you as grumpy or distant.
    Your marriage feels disconnected.
And then there’s the weight of world events, the pressure of societal roles, and the stress of trying to parent differently than how you were raised.

You’ve caught yourself thinking things like:
    "Am I doing this right?"
    "Why is parenting so hard?"
"I never wanted to repeat the mistakes my parents made, but now I understand how they happened."

  • It’s constantly whispering:
    "I should’ve known better."
    "It’s my fault."
    "I can’t handle this."
    "I can’t trust myself."

That voice is exhausting. It chips away at your confidence, your self-worth, and your ability to feel good about who you are.

  • Maybe you’re tired of the conflict—whether it’s with others or the war you’re waging inside yourself.

You’re overfunctioning, constantly moving, always trying to do more to keep the guilt away.
But the truth is, you’re exhausted.

  • avoiding hard conversations, and stuffing your feelings down to keep the peace.
Or maybe you’ve swung the other way, and anger feels like the only way to make yourself heard—but it’s not bringing the connection you crave.

    Dating feels miserable.
    Your family relationships feel strained.
And no matter what you do, it doesn’t feel like enough.

You know you can’t keep going like this, but the fear creeps in:

"What if I can’t make it happen?"

Hey friend, I’ve got you!

Hi, I’m Brittanie

I’m a therapist who helps overworked, unfulfilled women find the peace, balance, and joy they deserve. If you’re the one who’s always showing up for everyone else—fixing problems, sorting through chaos—and the idea of asking for help makes you want to cringe, you’re in the right place. I get it. I’m a problem-solver too, and I know how hard it can be to let someone else support you.

But here’s the thing: beneath all the overwhelm is a part of you that’s still fun, creative, and dreaming of something more. Let’s reconnect with her

Together, we’ll build the courage to create a life that actually feels good—one that’s nourishing, fulfilling, and full of joy. You deserve that.

Let’s make it happen.

It’s time to trade the struggle
for something better.

More peace and calm—the kind where your chest doesn’t feel tight all the time.

More confidence in yourself, better sleep, and relationships that actually feel good.

More days where you feel like you can breathe.

Less exhaustion that leaves you running on fumes.

Less snapping at people you care about or feeling constantly on edge.

Less of the physical stuff—like the stomach knots, the loss of appetite, or the white knuckles that make you realize you’re holding on for dear life.

Less feeling like you’re just on autopilot.

You’re looking for a change—and to finally feel like yourself again.

Ready to feel better, like, yesterday?

Let’s talk EMDR Intensives—deep, focused work to help you feel relief and make real progress, fast.

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

Think of an EMDR Intensive as a way to hit reset on the stuff that’s been stuck for too long. In these focused 2-hour sessions, we work together to help your body and mind process through four key channels: 1) physical sensations, 2) memories and images, 3) core beliefs, and 4) emotions. All of these are deeply connected, and sometimes they just need a little help untangling themselves.

It’s like turning on a blender to break things down so your body can finally process them. Or like reopening an old wound—not to cause more pain, but to clean it out so it can heal properly. Another way to think about it? It’s like defragging a computer or organizing a file cabinet. The chaos and clutter that’s been shoved in over time gets sorted, making things less overwhelming and sticky.

If talking it through had been enough to fix it, you’d be there already. EMDR takes a different angle to get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck. These intensive sessions give us the space and focus to dig deep, allowing for meaningful healing and progress in a shorter time frame.

How EMDR Works With Me

When we do EMDR, it’s not just talking
it’s guiding your body and mind to do the healing they’re already built for.

Think of it like setting a broken bone
so it can heal right, with less pain and lasting issues. By getting to the root of your symptoms, we can minimize their impact and help you feel more like yourself again.

Your body carries your story,
even if you don’t realize it. Unprocessed trauma and stress can leave your nervous system stuck in overdrive, showing up as things like sore muscles and  headaches, or trouble sleeping. EMDR helps bring your mind and body back into balance.

This isn’t about skipping the hard stuff
it’s about giving your body the space to heal deeply. Let’s see where the process takes us. Your healing is possible.

What Should I Expect?

  • Before we meet, I’ll review your form to make sure we’re a good fit to work together—because I respect your time and want to make sure this process is right for you. If you want an intensive only, let me know!

It’s especially helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or dealing with something big that needs more attention than a standard hour can give. Intensives are like hitting “fast forward” on your healing—focused, efficient, and designed for when you’re ready to do the work.

  • We’ll hop on a no-pressure call to see if an EMDR Intensive feels like the right next step. You’ll share what’s going on in your life and why you’re considering an intensive right now. It’s our chance to make sure we are on the same page.

  • If everything feels like a green light, we’ll pick a date for your intensive. A 50% deposit is due to hold your spot.

  • This is where we get prepped and ready. I’ll take time to really understand you and what makes you tick so we can dive straight into the deep work during the intensive.

  • This is the big moment—a 2-hour uninterrupted session where we go deep. I’ll guide you, but we’ll trust your body’s natural wisdom and the healing process within your nervous system to take us where we need to go.

  • After the intensive, we’ll meet again to reflect and take inventory. We’ll celebrate your insights and breakthroughs and talk about what comes next in your journey.

Frequently Asked Questions about EMDR Intensives

  • Sometimes, you don’t want to spend weeks or months chipping away at something—you want to dig in, get to the root, and make meaningful progress now. An intensive gives you uninterrupted time to focus deeply, without the start-and-stop of weekly sessions.

It’s especially helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or dealing with something big that needs more attention than a standard hour can give. Intensives are like hitting “fast forward” on your healing—focused, efficient, and designed for when you’re ready to do the work.

  • You get to do the important work of healing from the comfort of your own space—no commute, no waiting rooms, no extra stress. It’s private, convenient, and flexible. Plus, for a lot of people, being at home makes it easier to relax and dive into the process. You don’t have to put your life on hold to show up for yourself.

  • Yes! Many folks with ADHD actually prefer intensives because there’s no stopping and starting between sessions. You get to stay in the flow, follow your thoughts, and dig into the deep, important stuff—all in one focused session. It’s a format that works with your brain, not against it.

  • Absolutely. An EMDR intensive can work alongside the therapy you’re already doing. Think of it as a boost of therapy to tackle something specific that’s been holding you back. I’ll collaborate with your therapist (with your permission) to make sure everything fits together and supports your healing. You don’t have to choose one or the other—you can have both.

  • You can do that! We will get started with regular sessions and prep and discuss our EMDR options included extended sessions as we needed together.

  • Intensive are not covered by insurance for the full session time.

If you have Cigna, only the standard 1-hour therapy session is covered. For a 2-hour intensive, you would need to pay out of pocket for the intensive session.

If you don’t have Cigna, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits, but heads up—most insurance companies only reimburse for the first hour of the session. We’re breaking the mold here, and the system hasn’t quite caught up yet!

  • I accept credit cards, FSA, and HSA. You can easily upload your payment information into the secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal for hassle-free billing.

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due the morning of your intensive session.

  • Yes! I love partnering with other therapists to support and complement the work they’re already doing with their clients. It’s a collaborative process designed to help your client make deeper progress.

  • Just fill out the contact form, and we’ll go from there. The next step is a free, no-pressure consultation where we can chat about what’s going on and how an EMDR Intensive might help. Intensives can be life-changing, and I’d love to see if now is the right time for you to dive in. Let’s figure it out together!
